Bodhi Clinic Phuket, Thailand.

While on holiday we had the greatest opportunity to visit Tina and Paul who started Bodhi Clinic. Before we left we came across another dog sanctuary that we had initially intended to go to until a friend told us about Tina and all that she has done for the dogs of Phuket. We were generally touched by her story that we decided to visit them. Tina has well over 100 dogs in her care and is doing everything she possibly can to help the dogs in her care and outwith the sanctuary. They have a few helpers also. Tina also goes out and about de ticking dogs and giving them the treament that they need.

The day we arrived there Tina and Paul were late, but this was not a factor at all in our visit. They had sadly lost a German Sheppard that they had to take for an autopsy. On the way to the vet she found another dog who had a broken leg, it had, had it for months and she had helped him as well. This meant that Tina had to pay almost 4,000 baht for a vet bill. It equates to £80.00 here but for their small sanctuary they really need all the help they can get to make sure they can continue all the good work that they do for the dogs. So, we would like to try and do some fundraising throughout the year to give to the Bodhi Clinic to keep them doing their best they can. We will be open to donations when the time comes and we have made up our fundraising plan and we would love if our customers would like to get involved even if it is just £1.00.

Looking forward to this, so let's keep our fingers crossed!
